Reporting to: Chairwoman (temporary reporting line)

Role Purpose

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, monitoring, and strategic development of the Volunteer Companions Program. The role focuses on structured volunteer engagement, leadership development, and strengthening organizational impact through effective volunteer mobilization across all of Rehla’s programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic planning and implementation of the volunteering program in alignment with organizational priorities
  • Manage the full volunteer cycle (recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and recognition)
  • Supervise program activities, trainings, and volunteer initiatives
  • Develop volunteer engagement and retention systems
  • Establish monitoring, evaluation, and reporting frameworks
  • Build partnerships and represent the program externally
  • Ensure compliance, documentation, and operational quality standards
  • Drive continuous program improvement and measurable impact
Expected Profile
  • Strong leadership and program management experience
  • Proven ability to execute initiatives and deliver measurable results
  • Experience in volunteer management, training, or community programs
  • High level of accountability, professionalism, and proactive thinking
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
  • Alignment with values of inclusion, integrity, and community impact.
